I remember that whole #zoom thing quite well.
I still dont understand why it all of a sudden started working.
*Shrugs shoulders*
I think you're right about the stereotypical RPGs.
There are a crapload like that floating around.
Its interesting to see new ideas spring up though and I've seen quite a few of those from people I've met here.
Doing the same old thing gets old indeed...
but on the flp side...
I hate it when people try and do something as opposite of the norm as possible.
I mean I am all for originality but you have to admit that there is a pattern for a reason.
I really dont want to believe that its because people cant think of anything else.
I guess I think its because people like that sort of story.
...ok..ok...
There are a fair share of ripp-offs. I dont deny that, but similarity is not neccesarilly bad.
I dont think that fear of not being original should dispell potential game makers.
Its something to keep in mind...just not to brood over.
Anyway, I'm not disagreeing with you.
Your comments just got my mind churning.
...although I have to admit...
Even I worry about not being original enough.
I guess thats why I made myself redo the tiles and cinemas.
Oh well.
"Do as I say, not as I do"
...or something...
