Final Fantasy VII, Rouge Squadron, Pod Racer, Phantom Menace, and a great deal of other games were written for consoles and then ported to the PC, not the other way around, and about the 'marriage' between video games and computer games; they're on their honeymoon as we speak as the Japanese are trying out the PlayStation2 right now!
PS- Video games actually is the combination of computer games and 'console' games.
