related as in if I don't get this figured out I have no way of recording sound. I hooked my mic into the puter and all right...I get sound through the speakers when I talk in it and all...the puter totally recognizes it yet it refuses to record. Doesn't matter what I use, sound recorder, etc...nothing works. Any ideas?
