Alright, I have more info. I go into the multimedia properties under control panel, hit the audio tab, and see what I have for a recording device. It recognizes it, but is grayed in and I can't press the mic button. I can on other computers that have a mic though. Any ideas?
: When you mute a microphone, absolutely no sound should be coming out of the speakers (when they are on) that has been generated by the microphone.
