: Hi. i just have a few but important questions.
: 1 How would i make a fighting\heath\magic engine in
: rpgcode with animations or moves(whatever you call them)and of course wav sounds exactly or extremly like
: the one in THE LEGEND OF ZELDA, A LINK TO THE PAST .
: Plase answer in the most detail posible, I have read the manuals But I am still a bit confused(Sorry, but I am Kind of a Dumb-ass).Please. This is very important to me and I can not get started entill I have This Done.THANK YOU SO MUCH!
This is extremely difficult to do, but what you *could* do is set a program to be run with the Runtime key (this is defined in the main file). This program could make your character swipe his sword, or use whatever item he is currently carrying. If there is an enemy nearby, you could kill it. I'm not sure how you'd do that, though.
2 The second one is pretty stupied, but it would help me out alot. How would i go about adding a movie to the begining sequence and in the middle of game play or before a board is reveiled.
Use the #PlayAVI command. Or cycle thru jpeg files like cyrus does in his deceit and conquest demo.
: 3 This is EXTREMLY important!!!!!! I still cannot make rooms to go with the houses. No matter what i do i cannot create a link from a tile to another board!!!
In the board editor, under the RPGCode section, there is an option to set a warp tile. You can use this to create a tile that warps to you another rom (the 'warp' could be a door).
: 4 the forth is simple. Can I create cartoon like animations off the system some how, and if I could
: how can i convert them to mp3 to play them one the game.
Not sure what you mean. You cannot convert an animation to an audio mp3 file.
