Paint Shop Pro can fix up graphics really nice...
I scan images from an encylopedia of weapons (coolest thing ever) and use PSP to revamp and resize them.
Did you know they had a machine gun in the 17nth century ?...It was called the Volley Gun and looked like a lawn mower...
Anyway...You can download the Paint Shop Pro Demo (fully functional) and keep setting the date back on your comp....unless you want to pay about $70
