Where are my special moves ?

For some reason, special moves do not show up in my game....neither battle nor menu. I have checked everything. The files are there. My character can use them (moves set to yes). I have loaded them in his list. I even set all the moves to always usuable, but still....they are gone....vanished.... probably some stupid thing I overlooked....but...anyway... Anyone know why this might have happened ?
