need help...

k, I'm making a story sequence....but I'm having a small problem. The charecters I add to the board won't show up. I put them on the right layer of the board, I have the right handles of the charecters, the charecters have walking graphics and all...everything should work but it doesn't. I don't know what to do. Any help?
